The Utmilate Kitchen Adventure

When people who hate kitchen..

Cook…

What happens?
Something happens.
Great Things Happen.

Today was my day to show the greatness in kitchen. I was determined to do something unique and tasty. I was home early, took a small packet of bread along (10 slices) and srikhand… (Don’t know what it is called in English)

So I decided to do the experiments.
It was decided that…
I would be making sandwiches, soup, noodles, musk melon, and srikhand. (I only decided and it was unanimous decision)

I opened packet of bread and ate two slices just like that, what hunger can do to a man is turn him into animal, eat quietly what you get, just forgot all attitude that I show to my mom, while eating.
When she comes to know about it, she would be happy. That I worked.

The show begins…
Then took 4 slices of bread, applied jam on it and they were ready and placed in freezer.

Why is it so difficult to find stuff in kitchen, Opened Fridge 4 times then only could spot the bottle of Meonese. I had kept it, fridge is empty, still. My eyes are buttons. Big useless Buttons. I need a opthal..

Then took another 4 slices and applied Meonese. Everything was plain, what to do. Opened fridge and voila, there was a Kachhi Keri (Unripe Mango for you English men.) Cut it into small pieces and I had the unique recipe in this world. Meonese Sandwich with mango. I would call it Sand-wich-meo-mango.

Two things done in flat 10 minutes. Another record.

Then I decided to make was The Soup Ultimato. I tool half packet of soup with pasta. put it on gas and put 1 small bowl pakori, I knew pakori would swell and absorb the soup and we would end up eating rather than drinking soup.

Made perfectly, tasted thrice, added some salt. and it was ready.

Then came instant noodles, every Indian has been making them since when. So add water put noodles, boil for 3 minutes. Added a little chilli sauce. Had to make it different man, how would i eat it.

This was risk I taking, but I knew the other person would eat it and say it’s nice.

Then Came presentation, I believe in raw stuff (that’s how I call it to hide from people that I have few table manners) which means eat in source, no plates nothing. Adivasi style. Its best. But today since so much hard work, so presentation was equally important.

Took out tray, my god, Mom just hides them. so difficult to find the tray.

Then forks, small spoons (to eat srikhand), big spoons everyhting aranged. Perfecto. (The food taste just adds the extra O sometimes.)

Arranged everything, My friend came with Thumsup 2 litre bottle. He was shocked.

Lots of ice. Ice Ice Baby…

All things were there in one tray. Ultimato.

We started eating. And what is this, when we work so hard and everything is so damn tasty, why cant we eat it.

We had soup and i was almost full. Finally what we had in end was

Noodles, soup, 2 pieces of musk melon, 1 tea spoon srikhand, all sandwiches.

Rest all is stuffed in fridge again.

Haha not throwing it man, its my breakfast tomorrow when i wake up.

Every effect has side effect.

Utensils are lying like that, yet to clean them. Once my classmate Surabhi told me (its 15 years back), she was taught by her mom, clean the utensils right way. I bet she wont remember it, Oh when am i going to learn?

Living like this is fun but Mom is mom. She is best. When is she coming back from rajasthan.

May be a week more without her. Uff …

I should have clicked some pics to make some people believe that i did it. I have to buy a decent camera.

It was fun in the end…

Let me know abour your kitche adventures, recipes and times when you miss your moms, or wives. Waiting to hear from you.

Note : the guy who read and doesn’t comment will face days like I am facing. Utensil Cleaning. (Shrap Lagega). Bad omen. You will walk 40 steps and fall and there will be blood in your mouth. Hehe Don’t believe me all Madari’s do it. Their Favorite trick. Please comment. And Girls you know how to cook and do this beautifully. So don’t worry but do comment.
